Overview
As Finance Manager, you'll ensure our management company continues to run smoothly as we scale, with an opportunity to exhibit and hone your operational finance skills on a global scale.
Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly closing process for all management group companies
Consolidate monthly accounts, forecast cash flow, and perform variance analysis in a timely manner
Prepare intercompany invoicing, including subsidiaries, affiliates, and fund expense reimbursements on a quarterly basis
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to manage timelines for internal reporting
Manage cost allocation and revenue recognition across various profit centers
Ensure compliance reporting for all management group companies
Lead the annual budgeting process
Oversee external audits and statutory reporting requirements
Handle bank, exchange, and custodian account openings for all entities, including funds and management group companies
Process vendor payments and maintain an accurate invoice tracker
Maintain a well-organized record-keeping and filing system
Take ownership of additional projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
Qualified Accountant with 5+ years in asset management
Fluent in English and Chinese
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make sound judgments or recommendations
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively
Self‐motivated, independent, and eager to learn quickly
Low ego, high cultural and emotional sensibilities, and the ability to work effectively with diverse personality types internationally
Located in (or willing to relocate to) Singapore, with the ability to work from our Singapore office
Preferred
Familiarity with SEC regulatory requirements
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Regional accounting experience, particularly in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States
Prior experience working in crypto
