Associate, Development & Engagement

Asia Community Foundation (ACF) is an independent, trusted giving platform that catalyses funding at scale with informed, efficient grant-making for donors acting individually or collectively. Singapore-based, this charitable organisation supports individuals, families, and institutions as their trusted partner in purposeful philanthropy.

Established in 2022 by a group of philanthropists from Asia Philanthropy Circle, ACF was born out of the pressing need for a regional platform to facilitate cross-border giving in Asia. Our mission is to promote purposeful giving in Asia by connecting donors and nonprofits to achieve greater results than they could on their own. As a community, we believe that we can create positive change and address some of the most pressing socioeconomic and environmental issues facing Asia today.

Key Responsibilities :

ACF is looking for a candidate with excellent administration, communications and interpersonal skills who is passionate about contributing to the social impact sector. Reporting to the Director of Development and Engagement, the Associate of Development and Engagement will play a critical role in researching and managing the development of a new donor pipeline.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a new donor management system
  • Oversee and maintain donor management system to monitor and report on status of donor cultivation.
  • Monitor opportunities for the Development Team to engage with potential new donors : events, conferences both local and within the region.
  • Support with donor research and cultivation plans.
  • Participate in the planning and organisation of special events to support prospect development, donor education and relationship building.
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and APC team members.
  • Manage team record keeping and grant administration processes.
  • Support the development and execution of the donor communications plans - donor updates, impact reporting, greetings.

Requirements :

  • 1-3 years' work experience in the nonprofit, philanthropic, private banking or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM / databases and pipeline management systems
  • Experience in managing sales pipelines
  • Excellent English language communications-written, oral and listening;
  • Strong interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to self-start, make decisions and adjust to evolving situations.
  • Understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles and donor stewardship.
  • BA required, Mandarin or other languages a plus
