Job Description

Position Title : Service Technician / Service Engineer
Working Location : Loyang (Transport provided)
Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
Salary Package : Basic + OT + Variable Bonus (Twice yearly)
Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Perform production, servicing, installation, and commissioning of equipment.

Communicate additional customer requirements to your supervisor.

Receive and inspect customer-supplied products.

Ensure all jobs meet technical manual standards and customer requirements.

Provide cabling diagrams for customers as needed.

Commission equipment after installation.

Identify and report quality issues to the Service Manager.

Supervise technicians during production, servicing, installation, and commissioning.

Approve release of equipment to customers after successful service and installation.

Decide on the placement / location for new installation work.

Supervise sub-contractors on the job site.

Prepare and approve service reports.

Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the section manager or supervisor.

Minimum NTC / ITC in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.

Sound knowledge of computers, electronics, and telecommunication systems.

Experience in marine electronics or the offshore industry is an advantage.
