Resident Technical Officer (M&E)
a. Provisions of supervision of the Construction Works include all safety and statutory responsibility. The proposed personnel shall be qualified statutory and subject to the acceptance of the Client;
b. Be responsible for preparation and coordination of all statutory submissions related to the constructions works;
c. Be responsible to review all the construction related documents, shop drawings submitted by the Contractor, conduct full time supervision on site and report to Client's Project Manager for all site related matters; Check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person.
d. Be responsible on preparation of Monthly Site Progress Report, Site Progress, daily, weekly and monthly updates to the Project Team including preparation of the Meeting of Minutes (MoM);
h. Supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.
i. Check as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor
j. Check on quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications
k. Ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary
