My client is an established retail company. With rapid expansion plan, they are now looking for a new IT Director / Head of IT to manage their IT team.

About the job

Your role involves :

• Providing IT strategic planning and direction for the IT roadmap. This includes driving IT digitalization initiatives, identifying suitable technology, and translating them into viable IT Digital implementation.
• Serving as the key business contact representing IT in designing IT strategy / digitalization to improve business outcomes.
• Spearheading transformative projects in our retail and e-commerce spaces, from defining technology roadmaps to driving innovative AI solutions that enhance productivity and business operations.
• Designing and implementing a seamless omni-channel customer experience by leading feasibility assessments and partnering with Group Technology on technical designs.
• Overseeing the technical health of our e-commerce platforms and enhancing our retail support services to improve efficiency and incident response times.
• Leading IT project implementation, milestone planning, risk management and related activities.
• Planning and managing IT budget (Capex and Opex).
• Championing a robust cybersecurity posture by managing network security, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (PDPA), and proactively managing risk in line with our group framework.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 8+ years of experience in e-commerce platforms, modern POS systems, and integrated omni-channel solutions. A proven track record in IT strategy is required. You would also have at least 5 years of experience managing a team as an overall Head of IT.
