Roles & Responsibilities

Develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, leads and mentors a sales team, cultivates strong client relationships, analyzes market trends, and collaborates with marketing to align efforts

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans : Create and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives and revenue goals.
  • Market analysis : Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Sales forecasting : Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership to inform decision-making.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and motivate the sales team : Provide guidance, coaching, and support to help the sales team meet and exceed targets.
  • Mentoring : Offer sales mentorship, both in sales methodology and product features, to enhance team capabilities.
  • Performance management : Evaluate and monitor the performance of sales representatives to ensure high levels of productivity and success.
  • Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain client relationships : Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Client support : Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and support during the entire sales cycle.
  • Negotiate contracts : Lead negotiations with clients and manage contract processes to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and communication : Regularly report on sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.
  • Financial & Operational Management

  • Budget management : Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets to ensure financial viability and profitability.
  • Sales pipeline management : Drive all stages of the sales pipeline, ensuring smooth progression from initial contact to closing the sale
  • Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for sales optimization.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Use insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Provide valuable input to product development based on customer feedback and market demands.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
