The Professional Services team at SHL plays a pivotal role in the ongoing delivery of client solutions through a range of consulting and product-led interventions. The Senior Consultant role provides a great opportunity to work with key clients, consulting at senior levels and working across the breadth of talent measurement solutions. The role reports to the Managing Consultant and is based in Singapore.
Key Accountabilities
- Project delivery – provide first‑class delivery, develop client relationships, manage projects, and provide expert advice on SHL products and services to ensure solutions meet client needs and deliver growth.
- Designs and delivers solutions including :
- Talent Management Strategy & Process Design (e.g., talent management frameworks, competency frameworks, assessment or development intervention design, role profiling)
- Assessment (e.g., assessment centres, restructure / redundancy, executive assessment, 360 feedback)
- Post Hire Solutions (e.g., talent / high potential audit, online development tools, leadership assessment and coaching)
- Learning & Development (e.g., development centres, team alignment, coaching and action learning)
- Training Delivery for public courses or in-house bespoke training (Level 1 and 2 qualifications, assessor training, competency design and job analysis, competency based interviewing, 360 feedback, coaching)
- Product Consulting (e.g., bespoke assessment reports, situational judgement tests, realistic job previews, validation and business outcome studies)
- Lead for critical consulting projects – may lead a multidisciplinary delivery team and ensure alignment between proposal / scope and delivery, provide senior input on complex aspects, and act as escalation point when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement – contribute to profitable consulting work, shape new solutions, identify market trends, and support SHL growth through efficient use of resources.
Requirements
Psychology registration preferred, with preference for Organisational Psychology endorsementA persuasive and credible networker with ability to develop opportunities and leverage new onesClient-facing experienceStrong background in assessment and development in the workplace and / or SHL Talent Assessment’s product suiteProficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of SPSS desirable but not essentialHigh-achiever with enthusiasm, adaptability and resilienceStrong team playerAble to travel within Asia, travel expected several times a yearAbout Us
