A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp the business, financial and accounting concepts, exercise judgment and provide on-time accurate financial and managerial reports. A successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and proven finance professional, this position will be a strong resource for the local Finance Team as well as for the broader organization. A successful candidate will be open to new challenges and want to work in a wide and forward-thinking business.The position will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, for all the APAC region entities. Will work closely with the advisors, global team, and the local authorities, will support implementing statutory and company accounting policies.

This role will have significant senior leader exposure and a critical impact on the continued success of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-growth enterprise software & SaaS companies, preferably in a global public company, advanced revenue recognition knowledge, analytical skills, and be able to synthesize complex and diverse information, research data and draw conclusions.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, and complex environment. Additionally, he / she must be a strong collaborator, recognized for building credibility, commitment, and energy within the team and with the leaders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Managing the APAC region controllership team, including local team of accounting bookkeeping and payroll and act as the senior local finance focal point
  • Managing all financial aspects of the APAC entities, including reporting packages and local reporting regulations; Being responsible for all accounting issues as well as guiding controllers and setting processes
  • Leading the external audits to cover local requirements of all ASIA entities.
  • Collaborating with your colleagues Directors of Americas, EMEA & Corporate, expanding global knowledge and supporting cross organization initiations
  • Working with APAC leadership to ensure financial reporting are properly presenting the business results, and providing feedback to the leadership regarding financial aspects of their activities.

Requirements :

  • CPA with BA in Accounting
  • Big 4 veteran
  • 10+ years experience within controllership and managing within high-tech companies.
  • Experienced with public companies reporting, advantage, NASDAQ listed company background
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience in leadership and building up the team / department.
  • Strong IT and information systems orientation, NetSuite - advantage
