Islandwide, SG - Assistant Manager - Trade Marketing & Events (Retail / Beauty / FMCG)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to boost brand visibility, recognition, and engagement across trade shows and broader brand-building efforts
• Collaborate closely with marketing agencies to conceptualize, plan, and execute impactful events aligned with the brand’s vision and objectives
• Partner with the sales team to gain insights into market trends, customer needs, and channel strategies, translating them into actionable trade marketing plans
• Drive PR strategies for new product launches or brand initiatives, measuring outcomes through post-launch evaluations
• Build strong media relations to secure earned coverage; manage press communications and foster relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers
• Write compelling content for digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand voice
• Represent the brand in media interviews and act as spokesperson when required, addressing potential PR issues with agility
• Lead the development of CRM and loyalty programs to improve customer retention and engagement, leveraging data insights for personalized strategies
• Design and distribute POS materials and promotional items to strengthen product visibility and stimulate consumer interest
• Execute digital marketing campaigns and form partnerships to generate leads, especially for hair services and trade-related events
• Enhance promotional efforts to attract more footfall and elevate the customer experience
• Oversee trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve optimal ROI
• Track, analyze, and report on trade marketing campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness
• Build and nurture strong relationships with partners, vendors, and agencies to drive marketing success
• Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue coordination, staffing, and on-site branding
• Identify and secure sponsorships to expand brand exposure
• Supervise on-ground execution of events, resolving challenges while upholding brand consistency
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
