Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance department in maintaining and improving our ISO 9001 quality management system. This role ensures that all products meet strict quality standards before delivery and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The QA Manager will collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Project teams, and serve as a customer-facing representative on quality matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily QA operations and allocate resources within the QA department, including inspectors.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Lead internal audits, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and approve First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Production and Project Managers to uphold quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer quality requirements, complaints, and corrective actions.
- Support new ERP integration for quality processes and reporting.
- Mentor and train QA team members to build capability and maintain performance standards.
- Participate in customer and third-party quality audits as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS and quality control principles.Experience with internal audits, RCA, CAPA, and FAI documentation.Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including for customer-facing interactions.Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Comfortable with ERP systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic statistical tools.Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
