Security Engineer, Malware Defense (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to real-time malware threats targeting the organization.
• Perform static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis of suspicious files and potential indicators of compromise (IoCs).
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of analysis findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
• Identify and assess cyber risks, and work to improve detection controls and response mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity and incident response teams to mitigate emerging threats.
• Conduct end-to-end malware investigations across email, web, and endpoint environments.
• Shift Options : Sat–Wed OR Wed–Sun | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM SG
