Job descriptionDegree in social work, counselling, or psychology. At least 1-2 years’ experience in working with youth and family will be preferred Resilience in supporting clients through crises that arise during intervention. Able to be creative and relentless in engagement of potentially resistant at-risk youths and their families. Open to working flexibly outside office hours to match families’ schedules when needed. Open to delivering intervention to families in their homes. Counselling skills and knowledge of the social service landscape Good report writing skills with ability to meet timeline.
Roles & Responsibilities
Social Worker / Counsellor / Caseworker - Pre-Family Guidance Order (Pre-FGO), Family Guidance Order (FGO), and Integrated Service Provider (ISP)
Job Description
- Work with youths and families on Family Guidance Order (FGO), and Integrated Service Provider (ISP) related work.
- Conduct assessment, casework & counselling, and groupwork for youth-at-risk / youth offenders and their families.
- Collaborative work with external stakeholders (MSF, Youth Court, Law Enforcement Agencies and Schools)
- You will also be required to contribute to other ad-hoc projects within the team and organisation.
