Roles & Responsibilities

About the Company

Our client is a well-established organization with a strong presence in the transport and infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on and safety-conscious Technical Operations Officer to support the day-to-day rail systems operations.

Coordinate train movements, oversee control centre function, and support maintenance and logistical activities for safe and efficient operations of facility;
Support safe and compliant rail operations, including train routing, vehicle shunting, and controlled track access;
Monitor activities and enforce adherence to safety protocols and operating procedures;
Coordinate delivery logistics and lifting operations with external contractors;
Lead assigned teams involved in infrastructure and systems maintenance;
Perform training of junior staff as required.

Requirements

Tertiary education in Engineering, particularly electrical or mechanical engineering;

Prior experience in rail operations would be an advantage;

Team management and supervisory skills would be an advantage;

Class 3 or 4 driving licence would be an advantage;

Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Employment Details

This role may require overseas travel for assignments;

This role requires shift duty and overtime.
