What you will be working on

You will be part of the Point-to-Point (P2P) Transport division overseeing the street-hail and ride-hail industry. The P2P sector complements our Public Transport through the provision of a safe and reliable means of point-to-point service and supports our car-lite vision by reducing the need for car ownership. You will manage a team that conducts policy reviews related to the taxi, private hire car and carsharing sector. In addition to conducting regular industry scans of the P2P industries locally and abroad to develop think‑pieces and presentations for management, you will be responsible for generating statistical data and performing analyses to track the health and performance of the dynamic P2P sector. You will also share best practices and build a network with local stakeholders, other Government agencies and regulators. Ground situational awareness and stakeholder management skills will be key to success.

What we are looking for

• Preferably knowledge in engineering, statistics, data management or IT‑related.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in policy reviews and data analysis, preferably with public policy experience.
• Experience with Python, Tableau, Excel data visualisation, geospatial data analysis, database management is an advantage.
• Competent in managing teams to synthesise information, build strong narrative and distil ideas and concepts into concrete plans.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to work effectively in a fluid and fast‑paced environment.
• The critical skills to be an effective advocate and influencer is essential, as well as the ability to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions with both internal and external stakeholders, amidst a fast‑paced and fluid environment.
• Strong command of English as well as good critical thinking, writing and presentation skills.
