Assistant Vice President - HMM (SG) PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent will support the VP / SVP of HMM South-East Asia and Oceania Headquarters (SHQ) so that The Premier Alliance operational function as well as the projects given by Principals can be carried out efficiently and smoothly. He or she may be involved in the global trade network support and coordination, as directed by VP / SVP including participation in new or ongoing projects. At times, he or she may also be required to represent business leaders in mission critical discussions in a local or overseas setting where travelling is required.

Description of Responsibilities :

• Provide project initiatives and support to EXECOM overall coordination
• Provide support to The Premier Alliance Business Operation matter / Legal / Trust Deed / PR Committee
• Provide coordination support on all trade’s 3rd party SOC arrangement issue
• Proactive participation in business planning, JWP / FM, regulatory issues overall
• Ensure timely update to HQ and to coordinate all necessary arrangement in terms of The Alliance vessel particulars, dry dock notice and phase-in & out notices of all partnered vessels
• Identify opportunities to improve operations efficiency, productivity and service quality
• Liaise with all stake holders & regional offices to fulfil the regulatory & compliance of the business
• Liaise with Seoul Headquarter on updates and improvement for all administration functions
