Job Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Director – Transaction Banking Solutions within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office.
The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that is in charge of IT development and support functions. In this role the candidate will work closely with the regional transaction banking business stakeholders to drive implementation of strategic solutions in the cash management and trade domain.
Reporting to the Head of Department (ITD) , you will lead the teams to drive key technology initiatives to support our Transaction Banking business in APAC.
A brief on the coverage of the role would be as follows :
- Oversee the technology landscape for APAC in relation to cash management and trade solutions.
- Partner with the regional business stakeholders and product managers to deliver solutions to enhance our value proposition to customers in the payments, collections, virtual accounts, trade (import / export products and supply chain financing domains.
- Work together with the operations teams to implement global / regional solutions in these domains to enable straight-through processing and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with the global teams to collaborate for implementation of global solutions in the transaction banking area.
- Ensure the implementation of these solutions are standardized across the branches with limited customizations.
- Be accountable for the stability of the systems implemented in these domains ensuring they comply with the service levels for performance and availability as committed to the business.
- Build and grow the team to manage the different streams of work through a team of professionals based in Singapore and India
- Partner with the leads in offshore location to build the domain competency in transaction banking (cash management, trade and supply chain financing).
- Engage with the IT Heads in the countries to promote global / regional solutions and reduce the footprint of local applications.
- Manages the technology for the portfolio of applications and ensure the technology stack is up to date.
- Accountable for the stability of applications in the production environment.
Job Requirements :
Minimum 15 years of IT work experience in the area of transaction banking systems implementation and support with cash management and trade products experience.Experience in implementation of global / regional cash management (payments and collections) systems as a technology lead across multiple countries in APAC.Experience in a business stakeholder facing role within technology managing critical systems supporting cash management and trade services in the corporate banking sector.Good understanding of the cross-border payments function in relation to ISO20022 standards and the domestic payments landscape in APAC.Experience building teams across locations by getting the right personnel, coaching them and creating a talent pool that can deploy solutions in different locationsAble to interact with senior stakeholders to present the technology roadmap aligned to business objectives for buy-in.Must be hands-on to get into the details of country / business specific variations to drive standardization of the applications.Technically competent to be able to review the design of the solution liaising with our internal teams and vendors to ensure stability and redundancy built into the design.Strong planning, organizational and time management skillsSelf-motivated, self-organizing and possess drive, ability to be hands-on and lead by example.Experience in liaising with offshore teams, infrastructure teams and other personnel for implementation of solutions.We regret to inform that only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
