Roles & Responsibilities
Accounts Payable functions include verifying supplier’s invoices, initiating payments, data entry and maintenance & reconciliation of creditors’ ledger.
Accounts Receivables function include AR aging, prepare AR reports & monitor cash balance.
Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement.
Monthly bank and accounts reconciliation.
Handling staff claims.
GST returns and ensure all transactions comply with IRAS’s regulations.
Liaise with auditors and preparing audit schedules.
Undertake instructions from Directors and Managers for the transactions & assignments given.
Manage full sets of accounts and ensure timely & accurate month end closing.
Other ad-hoc duties that being assigned by supervisor from time to time.
The Accounts Executive reports to the Accountant to support the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. He / She covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks. He / She works specifically with accruals, fixed assets accounting or the monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes. He / She assists with the preparation of trial balance, basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements. He / She may be called on to participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing when necessary.
