Roles & Responsibilities
To produce high standard of clean rooms and also to ensure that the amenities in the rooms are sufficiently supplied for the convenience and comfort of the guests
To ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the guestrooms / public area.
To collect keys for the assigned areas and sign in the key log book.
To ensure that the trolleys are neatly stacked with linen and there are sufficient stock of supplies before starting to make - up rooms.
To be able to prioritize daily job tasks, e.g. which room to clean first.
To ensure that guest rooms and check-out rooms are cleaned as per Housekeeping standard and room supplies completely replenished.
To clean and maintain the maids pantry, service area after every shift daily.
To remove all dirty room service trays & trolleys, cutleries, and crockeries from corridor and guest rooms to the service area.
To make sure the rubbish bags are cleared and disposed of at the garbage area after every shift.
To know the various housekeeping amenities used in guest rooms.
To report any maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Office.
To follow rules and regulations of the Hotel & Management.
To keep personal grooming at the highest standard.
To be fully familiar with Housekeeping Policies and Procedure, Job Description and the Employee's handbook.
To perform all duties other than these above which are requested by the hotel management / direct supervisor.
