Sales Application Engineer [Power Industry | Gas Generator Sets | New Energy | Project Coordination | Customer Engagement]

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

Gas Generator Sets (5%) :

Develop dealers and build alliances with partner companies (EPC, Gas).

Prepare proposals and initial plots (plot plan, P&I, single line diagram, wiring system diagram) based on customer requirements.

Review tender specifications and construct technical proposals to meet project requirements.

Work closely with vendors and suppliers to propose suitable components and system designs.

Transfer technical project details from sales to engineering for production execution.

New Energy Transition Applications (5%) :

Develop customer relationships and alliances with partner companies.

Clarify new application concepts.

Coordinate with internal departments and external partners.

Develop initial proposals based on customer requirements.

Sales Activities & Engagement (90%) :

Facilitate detailed technical communication between sales and engineering teams.

Enhance relationships with equipment manufacturers (enclosure, remote radiator, panel, etc.).

Prepare technical proposals, initial plots, and project documentation.

Clarify DOR (engineering, procurement, construction, after-service) among related companies.

Provide product and application presentations to customers and consultants.

Perform engineering calculations to support customized project requirements.

Develop technical proposals, costing, and equipment specifications; manage vendors to support customized MGS projects.

Collaborate closely with sales PIC to enhance MGS specifications and customer benefits.

Ensure compliance with company environmental practices.

Undertake any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements :

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years’ experience in the Power industry.
• Knowledge of industrial engines and manufacturing environments.
• General mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Project management skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Engineering design knowledge (product and system) and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
