Job descriptionA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is an added advantage. A minimum of eight years of professional IT experience, with at least three years in a senior management or leadership capacity. Proven experience in leading significant technology modernization initiatives or cloud migration projects, with a strong understanding of current IT infrastructure trends. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with remote or outsourced development teams. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the capacity to foster positive relationships across multiple departments and functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead migration of legacy systems from PHP to Python, ensuring reliable operations.
- Oversee hosting move from GoDaddy to Azure, managing security, DNS, and backups.
- Collaborate with outsourced teams to meet project requirements.
- Set guidelines for architecture, coding, and deployment on new platforms.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with company goals.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies for greater efficiency.
- Maintain a technology roadmap focused on automation and integration.
- Supervise daily IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, user management, and data protection.
