Job descriptionDegree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related healthcare discipline.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope :
- Review and analyze patient medical records to assign accurate clinical codes (ICD, CPT, or equivalent coding standards).
- Ensure coding compliance with hospital policies, insurance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support accurate clinical documentation for billing, reimbursement, and statistical reporting.
- Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses or procedures where needed.
- Contribute to audits, quality checks, and process improvements in coding practices.
