Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of their physical, emotional, and social needs.Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that address residents' specific health needs and promote their well-being.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, care plans, medication administration, progress notes, and relevant communications.Advocate for residents' rights, dignity, and autonomy throughout the care process.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for residents.Educate residents and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.Foster positive relationships with residents' families, keeping them informed about their loved ones' health status, care plans, and progress.Stay updated with current knowledge, best practices, and advancements in nursing care, geriatrics, and relevant healthcare regulations.Provide emotional support to residents and their families during times of distress, grief, or end-of-life care.Requirements :
Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.Registered Nurse from SNBRelevant experience as a staff nurse, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting.Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.Knowledge of nursing best practices, standards, and regulations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Compassion, empathy, and patience in working with residents with diverse physical and cognitive abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.Benefits
