Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Roles

To drive manufacturing excellence program through fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

The program may include providing training and resources to employees, leading process improvement projects, analyzing and monitoring process performance, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

This Manufacturing Excellence program will improve production in terms of quality, safety, efficiency, capacity, sustainability, cost, and operability.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Build change management frameworks & implement operational excellence standards across the organization and lead cross-functional teams to implement process.

Drive continuous improvement mindset and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate process improvement activities, involve in analysis, planning, implementation, documentation, and support of operation process improvement projects.

Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and quality within the manufacturing processes. Digitalizing the manufacturing processes is key.

To be involved in corporate activities to improve interdepartmental communication and coordination to ensure that corporate goal is realized.

1, Development and execution of local procurement strategies

2, Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers

3, Management of quality, cost, and delivery of procured goods

4, Information sharing and strengthening of collaboration with the headquarters procurement department

5, Guidance on procurement-related tasks and personnel development for local staff

Job Requirements

• Master Degree in Manufacturing / Production / Mechanical Engineering
• Manufacturing professional with minimum 10 years’ extensive experience in Operational Excellence roles in a large manufacturing multinational unit with best practices, working in core lean and six sigma functions is required.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and / or Advanced Manufacturing certification will be an advantage
• Good management and organizational skills.
• Be creative, resourceful and willing to try new ideas.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a good level of understanding of business requirements.
• Good initiative and resolve to get thing done.
• Good and effective communication skills.
