Description :
We are seeking a seasoned
Project Manager (PM) to assist to manage the end-to-end process of
a building construction project. He / She will be assigned to the
Project Team handling either the Building or the Lab project.
He / She is expected to oversee all aspects of the projects and
account for : Milestones
Attainment
Leverage the Consultants' skills / experience to ensure
specifications / viability of project are on target.
Work with internal stakeholders - to ensure
buy-in / support.
Work with external
stakeholders and manage the delivery.
Cost
Optimization of the Project to drive costs
down.
The PM will manage project
resources and conduct regular project review meetings to ensure
that the projects are on track at every stage of the project life
cycle. He / She will manage change requests, anticipating and
addressing issues, prompt handling of project delays and risks to
ensure successful
outcome.
Qualifications and
experience :
Bachelor / Masters degree in Electrical / Chemical /
Mechanical Engineering or a related field from established
university.
Proven experience in leading build
projects from initiation to project closure
Proficiency in project management software and
tools.
PMP certification from PMI or
equivalent is a MUST.
Minimum of 5 years of
relevant project management
experience.
Responsibilities : Project
Planning : Manage a
portfolio of projects with defined project scope and
objectives.
Develop project scope, outlining
timelines, resource requirements, and milestones.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project
scope, objectives, and
deliverables.
Timeline
Management : Implement
effective project schedule to meet deadlines and
milestones.
Proactively identify and address
potential delays, to keep the project on
schedule.
Accountability :
Fully responsible for end-to-end activities from
requirements gathering to project delivery.
Accountable for managing project scope, cost, schedule,
and contractual deliverables, maintaining a focus on overall
project
success.
Project
Deliverables :
Responsible for project milestone deliverables and
obtaining sign-offs as
required.
Risk
Management : Implement
risk assessments and proactively develop mitigation strategies to
address potential project
challenges.
Stakeholder
Management : Implement
stakeholders across all levels, encompassing internal resources,
partners, project team members, and
subcontractors.
Transparent
Communication and Reporting :
Provide regular updates to senior management and
stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and potential
showstoppers.
Maintain transparent
communication channels between team members and external
partners.
Collaboration
with Stakeholders
Work with
PMO to ensure issues are logged / Resolutions in place / On-Track
