Roles & Responsibilities

Position : DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide CI / CD pipelines and DevOps platforms. This role will drive DevOps innovation, ensure governance and compliance, and provide leadership in integrating tools, automation, and best practices across diverse environments including cloud and containerized platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end DevOps pipelines across enterprise systems.
Coordinate with stakeholders from requirements gathering to successful DevOps onboarding.
Collaborate with vendors and internal platform teams to establish centralized DevOps solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Lead upgrades of DevOps toolchains and integrations with other enterprise systems.
Drive analysis and resolution of root causes for test orchestration and environment-related issues.
Stay ahead of industry trends and champion innovative DevOps, runtime, and operational platforms.
Deliver clear communication through technical documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
Provide governance and oversight for DevOps security standards, compliance, and audit requirements.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines : Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode (SAST), JIRA, and Confluence.

Proven ability to build CI / CD orchestration using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools .

Experience with containerization and deployment in Kubernetes .

Solid expertise in OpenShift or AWS cloud platforms.

In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes deployment processes and managing secrets in Kubernetes.

Experience with Jira workflows and customization, and setting up Confluence spaces.

Strong scripting skills in Shell and Groovy , with additional exposure to Python, Ruby, Chef, or PowerShell.

Prior experience setting up centralized CI / CD solutions across internal and external cloud environments.

Familiarity with DevOps governance frameworks, security, and audit standards.

Experience in continuous testing frameworks and tools ( JUnit, SonarQube, Veracode ).

Exposure to financial systems such as Murex, MxTest, and ML applications is an advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong knowledge of Agile processes and principles .

Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder presentations.

Analytical problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and perform effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
