Job Description

As Vice President in Banking Operations for Global Markets, you will lead and oversee operational functions supporting the firm's trading activities across Precious Metals, Commodities, Credit, Equity, and Listed Derivatives. This strategic role is pivotal in ensuring robust post-trade processing, risk mitigation, and operational excellence within the Derivatives Department. The role also includes driving innovation through the application of Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance operational efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Oversight : Manage a team of operations professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure high standards of delivery and control.
• Operational Excellence : Oversee trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation across multiple asset classes.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a key liaison between front-office trading desks, risk, finance, compliance, and technology teams to resolve complex issues and drive business outcomes.
• Risk & Control : Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks. Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Process Innovation : Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve operational efficiency through technology and process reengineering.
• GenAI Integration : Champion the use of Generative AI tools and platforms to :

Automate repetitive tasks and document generation.
