Working Hours Mondays to Thursdays : 7 : 30am to 4 : 30pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break Fridays : 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays Work Experience Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Science Laboratory Technician in a primary school setting. Qualification Minimum GCE “O” levels or equivalent Skills Able to make use of applications such as Microsoft office, google sheets etc. Key Responsibilities Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of the science laboratories. Prepare teaching resources (including tools / equipment / materials / apparatus and any learning or training kits) in collaboration with teachers. Manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock and procure of new equipment / materials / components when necessary while tracking the budget and resources utilisation in the Science Laboratories Demonstrate competence in use of equipment / machines as well as simple troubleshooting. Conduct specific experiments as per HOD’s instructions. Conduct termly store stock take for scientific equipment / material / apparatus. Track faulty equipment / materials that need to be replaced. Maintain a record of the loaning out of equipment / materials / apparatus to teachers. Update database of science resources which include diagrams and pictures.
