Job descriptionDegree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA Fresh graduates and those with less than 2 years of experience in corporate insolvency and / or external audit Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions Excellent written, oral and presentation skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines A strong team player
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the administration of bankruptcy estates. Responsibilities include (list not exhaustive) :
- Understand the legal aspects, processes and timelines of bankruptcy administrations
- Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
- Take control of the bankrupt's assets followed by realisation
- Gather information from bankrupts and other third parties
- Maintain a database of information and records
- Conduct site visits
- Adjudicate creditors' claims
- Investigate past transactions
- Assist with the reviewing of case / issues and preparation of file-notes
- Attend meetings and take down minutes
- Clarify issues / problems to be addressed and communicated clearly and timely to supervisors
