Software Engineer - QUESSCORP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer (L2 Production Support). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical applications, while also contributing to enhancements and automation. This role requires a balance of strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide support for applications, databases, and system environments.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and resolve issues escalated from L1 within SLA.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive fixes.
• Support release management, deployment activities, and post-deployment validation.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for production support tasks.
• Manage Linux-based environments for application support and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams on bug fixes, enhancements, and system stability improvements.
• Document procedures, update knowledge base, and ensure operational excellence.
• Participate in shift-based support (morning, afternoon, night) and on-call rotation as required.
