Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee the treasury function across global operations, developing and implementing strategies to support the Bank
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on funding, liquidity and balance sheet management.
- Develop and execute funding strategies to meet lending and investment commitments.
- Arrange and manage borrowings, debt issues, facility agreements, refinancing and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Oversee short-term and long-term liquidity planning ensuring sufficient buffer to meet obligations including loan disbursement etc
- Provide Advisory and oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of following functions
- Manage the liquidity risk, foreign exchange risk and interest rate risk of the Bank regulations
- Cooperate and coordinate with other departments to expand the Bank
- Maintain access to diversified funding sources and ensure the Bank capital markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global Banks and financial institutions exploring new financing opportunities
Key Requirements :
Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Finance or a relevant disciplineA CPA or CFA is also highly desirableMinimum 15 year's related working experience with the banking industry, global market spaceHigh competency in financial analysis, investment management strategies andfinancial statements understandingStrong knowledge in treasury product developmentAreas of Knowledge and Experience :
In depth knowledge of financial market productsProven ability to plan and navigate across multiple areas / platforms / business & functional units.Knowledge of both Singapore and Korea regulatory requirement and its local laws and jurisdiction.Essential Skills :
Good communication skills in listening, negotiation and presentationDemonstrate leadership like coaching, vision and motivation.Be able to understand problems, think critically, and devise solutionsAbility work under pressure, hands-on, driven and analytical.Possess of strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence senior management teams.Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.Proficient in Korean language is required, Individual will need to liaise, prepare reports and proper documentation to Korea's headquarterPERSOLKELLY Singapore Pte Ltd
