The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. At SBS, our research spans various areas, including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases, telomere biology, and genome function. We are seeking a highly experienced scientist with expertise in structural biology, particularly in protein chemistry and cryo-EM. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving research on mycobacterial enzymes and multi-subunit complexes, contributing both technical expertise and leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and conduct research on the 3D structure determination of mycobacterial enzymes and large protein complexes.
• Set up and perform cryo-EM experiments, including data collection, processing, and structural analysis.
• Provide mentorship to students and junior researchers in the lab.
• Communicate research findings effectively and contribute to collaborative projects.
