Responsibilities
- Familiarizes with all food and beverage items in the menu, its ingredients, method of preparation, portion size and presentation to be able to deliver ideal service maximizing guest satisfaction.
- Ensure food and beverage arrive to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction
- Ensure proper table maintenance, including water service, pre-bussing, etc.
- Ensure guests are charged correctly and receive proof of payment in a timely manner
- Communicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as necessary
- Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service
- Engage management for any guest issue or complaint promptly
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of service tools and service areas
- Stocking and preparing service related items
- Ensures the restaurant, equipment and interiors are always maintained in
a thoroughly clean and fully operational manner.
