Accountant Wanted - Join Singapore's

leading intensive therapy center,

WINGS.

POSITION

TITLE : ACCOUNTANT

EMPLOYMENT

TYPE : FULL-TIME POSITION

We are looking for a

reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the

full spectrum of accounting functions. In this role,

you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records,

support regulatory compliance, and contribute to the overall

financial health of the organisation. The ideal candidate will

possess a solid grasp of accounting principles, strong analytical

skills, and proficiency in working with financial data and

reporting

systems.

KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Financial Record Keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial

records.

  • Record all financial transactions in

the appropriate accounting modules (e.g. accounts payable, accounts

receivable, general ledger).

2.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare
  • monthly, quarterly, and annual financial

    statements.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and
  • annual management reports, budgets, and

    forecasts.

    3.

    Reconciliations

  • Reconcile bank
  • statements, ledger accounts, and other financial

    statements.

  • Investigate and resolve
  • discrepancies in financial

    records.

    4. Accounts

    Receivables

  • Generate patient
  • invoices and ensure accuracy and timely

    distribution.

  • Monitor outstanding receivables
  • and follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Maintain
  • aging reports and ensure accurate AR records.

    Attend to patient enquiries on invoice requests for clarification,

    reissuance, or payment-related

    matters.

    5. Accounts

    Payables

  • Process vendor
  • invoices and ensure timely and accurate

    payments.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and
  • resolve payment discrepancies.

  • Review vendor
  • contracts and ensure pricing, payment terms, and deliverables are

    accurately reflected in financial records.

    Monitor cash outflows and ensure healthy cash

    balance.

    6. Fixed

    Assets

  • Maintain and update the
  • fixed asset register.

  • Record acquisitions,
  • disposals, and depreciation of assets.

  • Conduct
  • periodic asset verifications.

    7.

    Tax and Compliance

  • Prepare and
  • submit statutory filings, including GST, Annual Returns, and Income

    Tax Returns, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and

    deadlines.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents,
  • corporate secretaries, and regulatory authorities to support audits

    and maintain timely compliance with statutory

    obligations.

    8.

    Payroll

  • Manage payroll
  • processing and ensure accurate recording of employee-related

    costs.

    9.

    Funding

  • Liaise with bankers on
  • bank loan applications, repayments, and related financial

    documentation.

  • Liaise with government and
  • social agencies to identify and apply for relevant grants and

    funding opportunities.

    10. Support

    to Management

  • Provide financial
  • insights to aid in decision-making.

  • Recommend
  • financial actions by analysing financial data, costs structures and

    profitability.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

    Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related

    field.

  • At least 3 years proven work experience
  • as an Accountant or in a similar role.

  • Strong
  • knowledge of accounting principles

  • Proficiency
  • in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero,

    MYOB).

  • Advanced MS Office
  • skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention
  • to detail.

  • Strong organisational and
  • analytical skills.

  • CPA or equivalent
  • certification will be a

    plus.
