Manufacturing Technician (Semicon Equipment)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the setup and assembly of semiconductor equipment
• Perform equipment and module alignment, including fine‑tuning of motion systems, optical calibration, and verification of system functionality.
• Provide occasional on‑site technical support, both domestically and abroad, including diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
• Oversee the preparation, assembly, testing, and validation of component kits and system modules.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for components and spare parts.

Requirements

• Holds a Diploma, NITEC, or Higher NITEC in an engineering-related field, with roughly 1–3 years of relevant hands‑on experience.
• Training would be provided for those without experience.
• Experience in environments involving AOI or Optics.
• Background in machinery involving electrical controls, sensors, motion systems, or pneumatics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings for mechanical and electrical setups.
• Familiarity with alignment procedures, motor tuning, automated inspection tools, or vision systems.
