Senior / Sales Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Provide sales forecast and achieve / exceed bookings, sales, and profitability targets set for the Business Unit’s business in Singapore.
- Tap on prospects, analyze requirements to develop winning strategies, and negotiate to win the business profitably.
- Maintain excellent accounts and build strong relationships with external customers and the internal sales and service team.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales team for technical support, and generate winning proposals for order processing, project team, and documentation including post-sales service with the Service team and various departments within the organization.
- Proactively promote regulators and pressure safety relief valve products and service solutions by using marketing programs, improving field resources.
- Lead and build on internal sales team relationships and bring in Product Sales Specialists to assist in value proposition.
- Understand customer needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts across all products and service solutions.
- Strong and keen sense of hunting and developing new opportunities / new customers.
- Employees must always comply to the EHS rules and regulations and take responsibility of safety standards and legal requirements.
Requirements :
Degree / Diploma or equivalent experience in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Automation) with 3-5 years of sales experience in marine, oil & gas, petrochemical & chemical industry.Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the valves business would be an added advantage.Good communication / interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills.Good analytical, questioning and possess good critical thinking skills coupled with the ability to develop and implement strategies.Mature and independent while having strong team spirit with internal customers#J-18808-Ljbffr
