Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Model Creation and Development :

  • Developing and maintaining 3D models using BIM software like Bentley, Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
  • Creating and updating architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) models.
  • Ensuring models are accurate, detailed, and compliant with project requirements.

Coordination and Collaboration :

  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate their designs into the BIM model.
  • Identifying and resolving clashes and inconsistencies within the model.
  • Participating in BIM coordination meetings and discussions.

    • Model Management and Maintenance :

  • Maintaining the BIM model throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and handover.
  • Updating the model based on design changes and field conditions.
  • Extracting data from the model for use in shop drawings, quantity takeoff, and other purposes.

    • Drawing Production :

  • Preparing architectural and structural shop drawings and working drawings from the BIM model.
  • Ensuring drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements.

    • Other Responsibilities :

  • Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
  • Attending project meetings and communicating project information.

  • OpenPlant Modeler – Piping & Process Modeling
  • ProjectWise – Common Data Environment (CDE) for collaboration
