Job descriptionCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent At least 5 years solid work experience with BIM, preferably with A1 Main Contractor Required skills : REVIT Preferably engineers specializing in Engineering – Civil / Construction / Structural or equivalent Proficient with C&S 2D / 3D models Experience with Residential Buildings / Infrastructure projects would be advantageous
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
- Able to train BIM modeller and drafters in company BIM standards
- Able to execute simulations for 4D & 5D
- Develop 2D / 3D models during design and construction stage
- Check and incorporate architectural, structural and M&E construction drawings into models and raise discrepancies / conflicts among drawings.
- Highlight coordination issue to engineer and conduct discussion with design team for solution
- Guide project members on the usage of BIM and BIM standards, implementation, usage and adoption of BIM for construction operations.
- Assist Project Engineer in preparing drawing plan submissions
- Assist project team in shop drawing production
- Assist project team in coordination, sequencing, constructability and as-built model with BIM
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the Project Engineer and BIM Manager
