Job description

Performs routine test procedures, automated ormanual, in the laboratory with little direct supervision.

assists in training of new personnel.

maintains a clean and well organised workarea.

Maintains proper inventory level of allsupplies and report any deficiency to the appropriate sectionmanager or the designate.

Reviews all daily QCresults and discuss any problems with the appropriate sectionmanager or the designate.

Checks theperformance of all instruments in the Laboratory and to report anywhich is not functioning properly.

Supportsflexible staffing requirements in the department and participatesin shift duties.

Complies with all regulatoryguidelines, participating in CAP proficiency testing, Nationalproficiency testing and inter Hospital QA programs.

Participates in a routine maintenance program forinstruments and in on-going CME and professional devtprograms.

Develops rapport with all theLaboratory Staffs as well with other departments.
