Job Description

The Role

Responsible for managing seriatim data and Statement of Accounts ("SOA") received from clients for the Asia Business Unit. This includes the validation of the data and the recording of SOA information into the Operations system (SAP), being the key client contact to manage and resolve data issues, as well as providing accurate and timely information for internal and external reporting purposes.

Duties

1. Responsible for managing data and SOAs received from clients,

which includes the following (85%)

  • Review policy and claims data received from clients to
  • ensure adherence to treaty limits and conditions
  • Ensure all details premium charged,mission rate, claims etc. are correct before confirming the SOAs with clients
  • Liaise with marketing team or with the clients directly to resolve data issues
  • Record SOAs onto the Operations system (SAP) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure settlements are made on a timely basis and in

accordance with treaty conditions, and thereafter recorded

promptly onto SAP.

  • Liase with clients on outstanding settlement
  • Ensure all correspondence from clients are followed-up in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform internal controls pertaining to the above processes, including Anti-money laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML / CFT) controls
  • 2. Provide support during the data mapping and ingestion of policy

    and claims data into SAP (treaty implementation process) through

    the provision of key product and treaty information and review of

    test results as required.

    3. Support any ad-hoc tasks including providing the necessary input

    and support to any projects involving Operations, prepare internal

    reports as required

    Qualifications & Experience

  • At least a few years experience in Life (re)Insurance industry, using (re)Insurance operations / administration systems.
  • Prior Insurance / Reinsurance experience is preferred and good knowledge of (re)Insurance finance, valuation, pricing, underwriting and claims functions is a plus
  • Strong capability in MS Excel is essential
  • Ability tomunicate well with internal stakeholders and external customers at all levels
  • Good team player
  • Good analytical skills, attention to details, ensuring accuracy is always maintained to minimise errors
  • Organised and deadline focused
  • Motivated to take ownership of work and to seek further responsibility
