Roles & Responsibilities
The Construction Supervisor is a pivotal role responsible for the direct on-site supervision of construction projects. This individual will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of construction processes, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers on the construction site.
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to ensure accurate implementation.
- Manage the day-to-day on-site construction activities, including scheduling, material delivery, and equipment allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve construction issues, conflicts, and unforeseen challenges promptly and effectively.
- Enforce a culture of safety-first by strictly adhering to and promoting all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of communication for on-site activities between the field team, project management, clients, and subcontractors.
