Senior Cloud Engineer - IDC TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud security, and cloud automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in cloud security tools,including IAM, GuardDuty, AWS Firewall, and CASB solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in CI / CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux administration.
• Solid understanding of network security, VPC configurations, VPNs, and hybrid cloud integration.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and resource management.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect (preferred).
• Implement advanced networking solutions such as AWS Transit Gateway and AWS Direct Connect to optimize multi-account traffic management and site-to-site VPN configurations.
• Strengthen cloud security by integrating PaloAlto VM Series Firewalls, AWS Network Firewall Services, and managing security tools like AWS GuardDuty, Trusted Advisor, and CloudScape.
• Automate cloud monitoring and security alerts using AWS CloudWatch, AWS Lambda, and Shell Scripting for proactivethreat detection and operational efficiency.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization, reducing operational costs by up to 30% while maintaining high scalability and performance.
• Manage AWS and Azure security services,implementing IAM roles, policies, compliance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
• Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) setups for CASB tools like Microsoft Cloud App Security and Palo Alto Prisma Cloud to enhance cloud security posture.
• Lead on-premises to cloud migration projects using AWS Server Migration Service (SMS) and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) to modernize IT infrastructure.
• Administer Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) for enterprise storage, ensuring secure data management and user access control.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365, ensuring secure authentication, user access, and resource allocation.
• Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux environments to enhance cloud infrastructure resilience and scalability.
