This is a boutique physical commodities trading firm led by a seasoned team of traders , including the well-regarded founder with a background at a major oil major. The traders bring deep market experience, strong relationships, and a track record of commercial success. The firm operates in a lean and collaborative structure, providing high visibility and direct exposure to decision-makers. As part of its continued growth, Kerry Consulting is exclusively partnering with the company to appoint a Trade Finance Analyst . This is an excellent opportunity for a junior trade finance professional to gain hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and long-term growth within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Trade Finance Manager, the Trade Finance Analyst will support the end-to-end execution of commodity trades. This includes managing trade documentation, liaising with banks and counterparties, issuing Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees, and supporting negotiations and facility management. The role offers high visibility and direct interaction with the trading team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of trade finance experience, preferably within commodities, banking, or shipping. A good understanding of Letters of Credit, Incoterms, and trade finance workflows is essential. You are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
