Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Execute engineering maintenance programs for M&E services and non-clinical equipment.
• Supervise contractors in performing preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Commission new facilities and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Review and evaluate proposals from user departments for equipment condemnation or improvement works.
• Record and update maintenance activities and breakdown reports in the computerized system.
• Update drawings and manuals to reflect changes from improvement works.
• Maintain workshop facilities, tools, and testing equipment in good working condition.
• Operate the Facilities Control Centre helpdesk and store when required.
• Identify spare part requirements and initiate procurement processes.
• Inspect, test, service, and troubleshoot facilities and equipment to maximize uptime.
• Ensure proper upkeep of all facilities and equipment to maintain building standards and a professional image.
• Provide support to Engineers and Technical Officers as needed.
