Job Description
The Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial operations by managing full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, as well as processing invoices, handling payment transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role ensures timely payments, accurate account management, and effective vendor and customer relations in accordance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts including month-end and year-end closing.
- Receive, review, and verify invoices.
- Process and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Process employee expense / claims and petty cash reimbursements and ensure all required approvals are obtained.
- Maintain and update vendor payment details.
- Prepare payment runs, including giro bulk payment, bill payment and invoice financing.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.
- Ensure all vendor accounts are up to date and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all invoices, payments, and related documentation.
- Support audits by providing necessary accounts payable information and documentation.
- Handle and request for vendor statements, ensuring all payments are correctly applied.
- Assist with other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Accountancy, Finance, or related fieldAt least 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Tell employers what skills you have
