Advanced Systems Developer Position
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining close-loop control algorithms to couple physical and numerical simulations in real-time, focusing on cyber-physical systems.
- Support a team of developers in terms of development, back-testing, debugging, and documentation for various cyber-physical systems projects.
- Contribute to task execution and deliverables under research grants and industry collaborations.
- Collaborate with partners, affiliated institutes, and stakeholders to contribute to grant proposals for research funding aligned with strategic goals.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Required Qualifications
Qualification & Field of Study :
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical EngineeringA minimum of 3 years of experience in similar rolesTechnical Skills :
Experience in designing and implementing NI LabVIEW-based data acquisition and control systems for ocean basin model testing or similar environments.Proficiency in developing LabVIEW applications for Windows and Real-Time (RT) Linux environments.Hands-on experience integrating National Instruments (NI) hardware systems such as PXI, cRIO, and CompactDAQ into testing frameworks.Familiarity with communication protocols like TCP / IP, UDP, Serial, USB, CAN, and EtherCAT for testing and control purposes.Other Requirements :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to adapt and work effectively as part of a team.Excellent written and spoken communication skills to handle diverse stakeholders.Resourceful, self-driven, and highly professional individuals preferred.
