Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., HVAC, pumps, motors, switchboards, lighting systems).
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repair works for building systems and facilities.
- Respond to breakdowns, faults, and emergency call-outs to minimize downtime.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
- Monitor and record equipment performance, maintenance activities, and technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Assist in energy efficiency improvements and recommend technical solutions.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and other departments when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
Requirements
Diploma / ITE certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or M&E systems.Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair.Able to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.Physically fit and willing to work on shifts, weekends, or be on standby duty when required.Competencies
