This team is Enterprise Singapore’s product house for financing tools to support Singapore enterprises access to capital for transformation and growth. The team supports the agency’s mission through its expertise in designing, structuring and executing financing programmes as part of the Board’s broader suite of support programmes for enterprise and industry development.

We are seeking individuals who are strong team players, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen analytical mind and attention to details to join our team.

What you will be working on]

Responsibilities

You will be part of the team responsible for the full product lifecycle management of our financing products. Our financing product portfolio spans across the equity and debt spectrum. Within this unit, your work will entail :

  • Product Conceptualisation, which includes defining the problem statement, sizing the market gap, substantiated with data and the theory of change.
  • Ideas Generation & Feasibility, which involves understanding specific use cases / applications, sketching the high-level design parameters and iterating with potential users to validate the theory of change.
  • Product Planning & Approval, where the full product specifications would be fleshed out and you will work with stakeholders to secure buy-in and budget approval for the product introduction.
  • Product Launch to gear up for product launch. This encompasses drawing up product operating guidelines, introducing new workflow and risk management processes, enhancing system, identifying suitable channel partners, training partners to use the product, and developing public communications and product launch plans.
  • Product Advisory & Management. Once the product is launched, you will provide advisory to channel partners / users on how to structure solutions using the product and proactively monitor the performance of the product portfolio to evaluate its product-market fit. This is to ensure that the product when launched is able to address the market gap for which it was first designed for. Where necessary, to propose product tweaks to ensure its relevance.

The above applies for both new tools and existing products.

What we are looking for]

  • Background in business, finance or economics would be an advantage.
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in enterprise banking, export credit agencies especially in a product role would be an advantage.
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
