Summary
The F&B and Events
Manager will be responsible overseeing all aspects of the food and
beverage operations, as well as planning, organising and executing
events to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role requires
strong leadership, organizational skills and a passion for
hospitality to maintain high standards of service, quality and
profitability.
Cafe / Bar
Responsible for the operations of
Front of House.
Manage the Cafe to the highest
standards.
Conduct interviews, hiring
decisions and manage terminations as necessary.
Ensure staff are properly trained to the level of
expectations and are able to make recommendations and upsell items
on the menu.
Oversee staff grooming to the
highest standards.
Manage Front of House duty
rosters effectively.
To ensure high customer
satisfaction.
To ensure orders are submitted
on regular basis for any food and beverage under the purview Front
of House.
Closely monitor inventory in the
store on a regular basis and ensure no shrinkage and expired
foods.
To ensure all tableware and glassware
as well as all food and beverage under the Front of House and Bar
operations are accounted for.
To develop new
ideas and new businesses for the Cafe and
Bar
Avenue On
To ensure that
staff are familiar with all components of Avenue On 3 in order to
cross sell and advise customers.
To oversee
the development of Avenue On 3's food and beverage offerings
outside of the Kitchen production, including but not limited to the
Avenue On 3 Coffee, Macaroons and Mooncakes ensuring adequecy of
stock and smooth delivery to customers.
To
enhance the sales and distribution of these items to an optimal
level.
Events
To develop events that would be beneficial and reflect
the Avenue On 3 brand positively.
To
collaborate with third parties and execute events.
To work closely with the Marcom team to develop ideas for
events and activities.
Specific inventory for
such events should be maintained and kept at an appropriate level
avoiding overstocking.
Perform any other
duties assigned by the
Company.
Requirements :
Diploma / Degree in Hospitality Management, Business or
related fields.
Mininum 3-5 years of
experience in F&B management and / or event
management.
Strong leadership, organisational
and interpersonal skills.
Excellent
communication and client management abilities.
Proven track record of managing budgets, cost control and
achieving sales targets.
Ability to work under
pressure and adapt to a fast-paced
environment.
