Job Title : Business Development Manager
Office Location : SG-Singapore
About the Role
Lead and manage the Pure focus and scale partners to ensure business stability, growth and provide a predictable environment for the assigned business unit. Build relationships with the resellers to promote assigned Pure solutions on targeted business segment.
Match accounts and activities with these channel partners to build pipeline using the range of Pure products.
Co‐visit with the partners' sales representative to sell the assigned Pure solution to the end users.
Work closely with the Solution Architect / Presales on solution and technical deliverables.
Work with the channel team to provide the partners the assigned Pure solution and pricing strategy.
Maintain good working relation with Vendor on GTM strategy and project engagement.
Provide timely and constant update to the partners on the development of the products.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve the revenue and profit target.
Promote complementary vendors within the Pure practise.
Own and drive Channel Development Plan.
Engage with the vendors Account / Channel managers on development of channel relationships.
Build strategic relationships with relevant vendors staff and senior management team.
Promote services practise for the assigned Pure business.
Provide coaching to the reseller sales representative on the assigned Pure solution.
Work with team to align vendors' and channel partners objectives.
Drive vendors' sales through Tier‐2 resellers and ATP partners.
Maintain exceptional customer service and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.
Ensure punctuality to all internal and external meetings.
Meet all reporting deadlines including pipeline reports.
Meet appropriate quarterly MBOs.
Major Challenge
A key member to build the assigned Business Unit in Westcon Group.
Qualifications / Requirements
Technology understanding – strong understanding of assigned Pure solution.
Effective communication skills both orally and written.
Experience in managing relationships with large vendors and channel partners.
Understanding of the Channel model.
Strong sales background with the ability to build relationships at senior and strategic levels.
Business management skills.
Management and mentoring of staff.
Excellent Presentation skills.
Business Planning and Strategy skills.
Tender and Proposal writing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively.
Good attention to detail and follow-up.
Strong negotiation / persuasion skills.
Must be able to work with high self-motivation and energy levels.
