Trade Floor Application Support – Leading Investment Bank

Our client, a top-tier global investment bank, is looking for Application Support to work closely with front-office users to support commodity trading applications. They adopt the follow-the-sun model.

Responsibilities :

Provide applications support across Front Office order management, market data, risk systems, etc.

Work closely with front office users including traders and quants to provide technical and functional support and root cause analysis

Manage Application and Infrastructure changes and upgrades.

Requirements :

5-10 years of application support experience in the finance industry, ideally in a front-office trading environment.

Good knowledge of UNIX / Linux, SQL / Oracle, and Shell / Perl. FIX protocol is a plus

FICC business domain knowledge is a big bonus

Excellent command of English, good communication, and interpersonal skills. Mandarin / Japanese / Indonesian is a plus because the role provides support for different users in the APAC region

University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
